“International conference on chemical investigation and utilization of natural resources (ICCIUNR)” is a leading international conference in Mongolia in the field of chemistry organized by the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences. Since 1999, the ICCIUNR has been organized four times and served as a venue for scientists, researchers, and participants from different countries to share and exchange the latest scientific achievements.
The fourth ICCIUNR (ICCIUNR 2016) took place in 2016 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and co-organized by the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, MAS, and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. The conference has attracted 180 participants from seven countries and provided the opportunity to discuss 45 oral presentations including 7 plenary lectures and 50 poster presentations. The conference subject ranged from descriptions of new techniques; quality assurance and metrology; environmental monitoring; organic and biochemistry; safety of food; natural product chemistry and new materials.
