The fifth ICCIUNR (ICCIUNR 2021) took place in 2021 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, organized by the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences, provides a virtual platform to share the latest achievements, innovative results, new knowledge, and information from 15 different fields in chemical sciences among experts and colleagues around the world. The conference brought together 150 participants from over ten countries, offering opportunities for discussion across 37 oral and 46 poster presentations. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of both the Mongolian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, ICCIUNR-2021 brings up the importance of Chemistry in ensuring sustainable development at the national and international level through our conference motto “Chemistry as catalyst for Sustainable Development”.
